Digital Inclusion

DigiBridge is fully committed to working towards social inclusion for deprived and disadvantaged communities.

DigiBridge works with and within local communities to ensure whole communities, and individuals within them, are not left behind by advances in computer and digital technology. DigiBridge aims to turn the evidence on its head and ensure children, lone parents, the elderly, ethnic minorities and others feel part of the digital age.
 

DigiBridge working with Stakeholders

DigiBridge has recently worked in partnership with several oganisations to promote Digital Inclusion, these include

  • Kurdish Human Rights Project
  • PoplarHARCA
  • Springboard Housing Association
  • UKOnline Centres
  • UnLtd
  • Working Neighbourhood Pilot project
  • Bethnal Green and Victoria Park Housing Association

We work with Social Partners to:

  • Draw up actions plans to connect local people to local services and create opportunities for the social excluded
  • Assess local needs for local people
  • Implement computer and internet programmes including the provision of training and support

Case Study


DigiBridge is working with leaders on a deprived community in the East End of London to improve individual education and employment opportunities and community renewal.

The project is benefiting children of school age, single parents, the elderly, a diversity of ethnic groups and people who do not have English as their first language.
